Private desktop utility

Local video uploads, with a clear audit trail.

YouTube Uploader Local helps its owner upload MP4 archives from a Mac to the owner's YouTube channel, monitor processing, and preserve the mapping between each local file and its YouTube video.

Purpose-built

A focused personal workflow

This is not a public upload service. There is no public account creation, advertising, analytics, or sale of user data.

  • Upload: sends owner-selected local videos to the authenticated YouTube channel.
  • Verify: checks upload, processing, and visibility status through YouTube APIs.
  • Record: stores the source-file and YouTube-video relationship on the owner's Mac.
  • Clean up: may move a source file to Trash only after the configured remote-success checks pass.
Data principles

Designed to keep control local

The website itself is informational and does not collect personal data. The desktop utility uses Google authorization only for its stated upload workflow.

01

Local storage

Credentials and job records are kept on the owner's device using macOS Keychain and local application storage.

02

Limited access

Google user data is used only to upload videos, identify the authenticated channel, and verify video status.

03

Owner control

Access can be revoked from the Google Account permissions page, and local records can be removed by the owner.
